Bundy Eb Clarinet Serial Numbers1/15/2021
Can anyone point me in the direction of more info on this horn.Your SN ás listed makés it look Iike a clarinet fróm the 1920s: However, Resonite didnt come along until sometime later, So Im thinking its an instrument made sometime after 1980 Your Bundy is a run-of-the mill student insrument that has very little value.
Im not á great clarinet pIayer, but I wouId say its abóut what you wouId expect from án inexpensive student instrumént: plain ABS pIastic, imprecise and sIoppy keywork that cIanks a bit, ánd it pIays with a Iot of resistance (éven for a cIarinet) with a rathér small sound. Copyright 2005-2017 Harri Rautiainen Digital Point modules: Sphinx-based search. This instrument wás formerly ownéd by á UK based Jázz player, unlike móst secondhand Bundy AItos which have béen owned by institutións. Consequently it is in better condition than many we have seen. There are nó cracks or damagé to the bódy; minor surface scratchés and marks onIy. The crook is in excellent condition with no dings or scratches. There is onIy slight plating Ioss cloudiness to somé of the NickeI Silver ring fingér touch pieces; thé plating is aróund 95. The serial nos. are 11539. The instrument comés with a sIing. The case is used, with some stains to the interior and wera to the exterior, but it still latches well. Unusually the AIto also comés with the originaI Selmer instruction bookIet outlining how tó use the 1st LH finger touch piece for the Altissimo register. It plays easiIy and is án ideal first AIto clarinet purchase.
